Spark the Swiffer Effect With the Big Green Box

Hi lovelies!  Today I'm talking to you about Swiffer and its awesome Big Green Box.  I was recently sent 2 (!) Big Green Boxes from Swiffer - one to keep and one to give to a friend/family member.  I'm such a huge fan of Swiffer's products because they make life sooo much easier and they work great.  What more could you want? 

I was so stoked to get a new sweeper and both wet and dry pads.  My kiddos think it's the coolest thing ever and fight over who gets to do it.  Seriously, it's pretty awesome.  The dusters are so great, I won't dust any other way.  And again, the kids think it's so rad and they want to dust for me.  It's so fun for them to be able to share in the chores especially now that they're getting older and they want an allowance.  This makes life easier for me because they can mop the floors and dust everything for me - 2 of my most hated chores.  {Click to see who I gave the other box to!}

 Hi lovelies!  Welp, today my youngest starts the 4th grade.  I can't believe it.  Even more shocking is that tomorrow, my oldest starts the 8th grade.  Back to school shopping has been done even if we finished it on Saturday.  It takes a while because it's so expensive, am I right?!  While we are fortunate enough to be able to buy everything we need for school, there are others that can't.  And that really stinks to think about, especially that they could be kids in our neighborhood.  But more on that in a bit.  Back to school time also means that it's time for the kids to go to the doctor for their physicals and immunizations/vaccinations.  {More after the jump!}

Hi lovelies! Today I'm going to show you how to make a super easy tablet case!  

I just recently got this T-Mobile free data tablet to allow me to still work on SnS while dealing with the whole school-is-back-in-session schedule stuff.  Both of my kiddos play soccer, and between games and practices, there's soccer 6 days a week - meaning no down time for me.  I love going to their practices, but more times than not I'm cursing the lack of wifi because I could totally be working on my blog while watching the kids play.  

Now this awesome T-Mobile tablet has free data (200MB/month) for LIFE!  Can you believe that?!  I couldn't either.  Of course, it also runs on wifi so I only turn on the data use when I'm not near a source of wifi.  The data runs on the T-Mobile's 4G nationwide network, so it works pretty much everywhere with super fast speed.  Oh, and it's only $179 too.

Hi lovelies!  With back to school literally around the corner (as in, next week!) preparations are in full swing to make sure the kids have everything they need so they can be prepared for life's little curveballs.  Now for my 9 year old, that means he has all the supplies he needs and has clothes, shoes, and that's about it.  For my nearly 13 year old starting 8th grade, that preparedness has different implications.  She's pretty early into her "monthly visits", so her period unfortunately can come at any time for her.  This means that she has to always be prepared.  We sat down together the other day and put together an emergency kit for her to keep in her backpack/locker, and another for her soccer bag.  Of course the most important item the kit had to include was feminine care.  {Click to keep reading!}

Hi lovelies!  Can you believe summer is just about over?!  I can't - it seems like it just started.  My kiddos head back to school in just a week so it's now that time to start thinking about packing school lunches again.  While this may be a dreaded chore for some, I really have fun getting creative with my kids' lunches and making something that'll put a big smile on their faces.  I always include Juicy Juice® boxes in their lunch, it's my favorite and theirs too!  As much as I try to keep their lunches healthy, I do include a treat or two so I wanted to create something fun with Nestlé® Butterfinger® and Crunch® bars other than just including them, so I came up with a couple of fun and best of all easy and quick recipes!

I like to do any baking/extra-long preparing on Sundays, and the kids love to help cook!  It's a great way for us to spend some quality time together, and preparing things in advance gives us more time throughout the week to really have more time to spend together.
