DIY ~ Lupita Nyong'o Inspired Sparkly Headband

Hi lovelies!  Today's DIY is a really fun one.  I think the world was obsessed with Lupita Nyong'o's Oscar look (I sure was!).  But what stood out the most to me was the gorgeous Fred Leighton diamond encrusted headband she adorned.  I knew right away I needed to make one, and I had everything I needed to do just that!  {Click for the how-to!}

You'll need:

• Metal headband blank
• German glass glitter
• Mod podge
• Sponge brush
• Bowl 

How-to:

• Mix one part mod podge to one part glitter (you really don't need much for this) 
• Apply a thick coat to the headband
• (not shown) sprinkle glitter over the mod podge/glitter mix on the headband before it dries
• Let dry overnight

This was so easy to make and the glitter has the perfect look to it.  I love how sparkly it is and it really goes with everything... no red carpet-worthy dress required!
