Hi lovelies! I've been meaning to share this DIY for a while. This is so fun, cute and easy. Not only that, but it's super fun to wear! {Click for the how-to!}
You'll need:
- Wire (I used 18 gauge)
- Metal headband
- Assorted beads
- Wire clippers, jewelry pliers
How-to:
- Cut a piece of wire about 6" long. Fold it and kind of shape it into a cat ear shape.
- Repeat for a second one. Place under the headband, leaving a bit of excess to wrap around the headband to ensure the proper size. Trim if necessary.
- Use your jewelry pliers to wrap the outer edge of each ear securely to the headband. Do it tightly so they don't slide.
- Get your beads ready!
- Determine a pattern and thread your beads onto each wire ear.
- Wrap the wire end securely around the headband with your pliers, making sure it's tight and doesn't slide.
- Repeat for the other ear. Done!
Bella loved this headband so much, she insisted I photo her modeling them. She got a little 'catty' and had fun!
I love how fun and easy these are to make, and they're an adorable, quirky addition to even the simplest hairstyle. Have fun, play around with different beads and sizes/shapes of the ears.
