Birchbox vs. Glossybox vs. Ipsy Glam Bag ~ August Edition

Hi lovelies!  As I just posted my Glossybox review the other day, it's now time for the head to head (to head!).  Curious how the 3 most popular beauty subscription boxes (and bag!) stack up?  Not sure which one (or two or three!) you want to subscribe to?  Have no fear, my dear, as I bring you August's edition of Birchbox vs. Glossybox vs. Ipsy Glam Bag!  {Click to see how they stack up!}

Birchbox's theme this month was 'Finishing School', and was all about those finishing touches to any look.  I am in love with the ModelCo lipstick, as well as the Juice moisturizer and who isn't addicted to Supergoop?  The foot wipes and the fashion tape are fabulous and have a home in my purse now, but their value is practically negligible.  Want to see each product in better detail?  Birchbox August Review.

Glossybox was all about 'Bohemian Summer' this month, with everything you need to seize the last days of summer.  Shockingly, every product was full sized!  I absolutely adore every product and was so excited with everything in this box.  Want to see my review?  Glossybox August Review.

Ipsy's theme was 'Glamour Academy', and what I really liked was that this bag had everything to put together a whole look, from the facial scrub to the mascara!  My daughter loved the bag so much she has it in her backpack :)  Want to see each product again?  Ipsy Glam Bag August Review.

*All prices were calculated by creating a ratio of the cost of the full size to it's size and then applying that to the sample size to arrive at a price.  For example, if something costs $10 for 1 ounce, and a 1/2 ounce sample is received, I'm valuing it at $5.  Make sense?

THE VERDICT
Although I did quite like my Birchbox this month, I felt that it didn't really stand up against the other two, especially value-wise.  Glossybox was chock full of full sized products, and they're actually things I like and will use (the facial mist is aaahhhhhmazing!).  Ipsy had all the makings for an entire look!

THE WINNER
With it being so close between Ipsy and Glossybox (seriously, it's a dead-tie), I have to just go with my gut.  The gold goes to Glossybox, if for anything because it had all full sized products!  Ipsy gets the silver, and Birchbox (sorry!) gets the bronze.
