Hi lovelies! I've been dying to do a gradient mani for some time now, but the hardest part was picking colors! I finally decided to do one of my favorite combos, bright pink and orange! The only thing is it is messy! Please forgive the stray polish, k? {Click to keep reading!}
What you'll need:
- Nail polish in your desired colors
- Makeup sponge (don't go fancy, I got a pack of 32 at the dollar store)
- Toothpick
- Paper plate
So you can kind of see in the top pic how I did this. I brushed some pink polish onto the plate, left an empty space, then brushed some orange polish. I used the skewer to blend the two in the middle so the gradient would be more blended. I then pressed the sponge into the color, and then pressed it onto my nails. I ended up having to do it twice per nail to achieve good coverage, then I followed up with a topcoat. My girl Bunnie did a great tutorial on B Sugar Coated, check it out (I only wish I could get mine to look as great as hers)!
