Hi lovelies! I came up with this super fun bracelet over the weekend and thought I'd show you all how easy it was! I love the contrasting colors and the way the fishbone chain spikes out; it's just all around rad. {Click to keep reading!}
You'll need:
- Jewelry pliers & wire nippers
- Measuring tape
- Fishbone chain (I found mine on etsy!)
- Colored rhinestone trim (I found this at Michael's; an easier option is to custom tailor plain rhinestone chain to your liking using nail polish!)
- Rattail cord
- 2 - 4mm jump rings, 1 - 6mm jump ring, and 1 - 8mm jump ring.
- Lobster clasp
- Not shown: scissors, lighter and / or clear nail polish
Trim your chain to about 6" long, and your rhinestone train to a little bit less.
Tie the cord around one piece on the end of the chain. Trim the excess and either singe the cord end with the lighter and lightly push it into itself, or use clear nail polish to kind of do the same thing.
Add your rhinestone trim and start wrapping around, going in every space.

When you reach the end, finish the cord off the same way you began it. (also a cool view of the underside of the bracelet.)
So when I laid it out, I realized how much this looked like a centipede! Hence, it being dubbed the centipede bracelet :-)
I attached the lobster clasp to the end of the bracelet I started at, using a 4mm jump ring only. The opposite end, I used the 6mm attached to the chain, followed by the 4mm and the 8mm to that, see above.

And that's it! It's pretty easy to make, and unique look to it is pretty rad. You can make it in any color combo you'd like!
