Hi lovelies! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Today I have a fun DIY I came up with out of boredom / desire to make something the other night. I must admit, I'm so happy with how well they came out! {Click for the how-to!}
You'll need:
- Fishbone chain (I found this antique bronze on etsy)
- 2 large jump rings (I used gold to contrast with the spikes)
- 2 small jump rings (I used silver to match the earring wires)
- 2 earring wires
- 2 spike charms (found on etsy as well)
- Wire cutters
- Jewelry pliers
Cut two pieces of fishbone chain that are three links long. To do this, cut on the fourth link, as shown above.
Here's what you'll have.
Attach your large jump ring to both the last link of chain and the spike.
Repeat for the other!
Now attach your small jump ring to the top of the links and the earring wire, as shown.
All done! Easy peasy, and takes no more than 5 minutes! I love the mixed metal look and these unique earrings are sure to get you tons of compliments! Any interest in these? I can add them to my etsy shop if you'd like to buy some!
xo
