Hi lovelies! I hope you all had an amazing 4th of July (or a great Thursday if you're not in the States)! It's time for my monthly head to head to head of the big 3 beauty subscription boxes (and bag!). In case you're on the fence about subscribing to one (or two or three of them!), you can see how they compare to one another, and which is the best value. That's right, it's the June edition of Birchbox vs. Glossybox vs. Ipsy Glam Bag! {Click to see how they stack up!}

Here's what was in Ipsy's Glam Bag this month, and here's my review of it. I love the bag and the products are pretty rad too. The glitter palette is actually fun to play with; I put gold 'football stripes' under my eyes when I was watching the Stanley Cup [too bad the Bruins didn't win :'( ]
Finally, this was the contents of Glossybox's special edition American Beauty box, and here's my review of it. I really like the products, all were new to me and I'm stoked with them.

*All prices were calculated by creating a ratio of the cost of the full size to it's size and then applying that to the sample size to arrive at a price. For example, if something costs $10 for 1 ounce, and a 1/2 ounce sample is received, I'm valuing it at $5. Make sense?
THE VERDICT
All boxes / bag were awesome, and I am really stoked on every single thing I received this month. For once, I'm actually loving all the products and sample sizes! This month was really difficult to choose the winner, I feel that Birchbox has been stepping up their game lately, and although they aren't including anything of spectacular value or size, they are sending really amazing product samples and that makes up for it in my opinion.
THE WINNER
As far as value goes, Birchbox was barely worth more than its cost, so it had to come in third place. So we're down to Glossybox and Ipsy. While they both had similar values, one must remember that one costs twice as much as the other. That's right, for the second month in a row, Ipsy is the winner! While this is only my second Ipsy Glam Bag, my only regret is not subscribing sooner. Glossybox absolutely rocked this month, but again, it costs double what Ipsy costs.
