Hi lovelies! Maybe it's the New Englander in me, but there's something about these sailor's knot bracelets that I just love, it evokes feelings of summer in me just looking at it. But being an adult, they just seem too plain for me now. It wasn't until I spied these amazing neon gems that I knew what I wanted to do. {Click for the how-to!}
You'll need:
- A sailor's knot bracelet (buy one or make your own! A simple google search yields results for both!)
- Neon Emerald (or your choice of color) sew-on jewels (I used these exact ones from M&J Trimming)
- Needle
- Matching thread
Decide upon an arrangement, and begin sewing the jewels on one by one. I decided to start with the center one, and sewed it through the holes to the bracelet twice.
Here's it halfway done.
And voila! I love how it gives the bracelet a new life, and now it's something I'll wear throughout the summer. I think it's a perfect accessory, and it's so unique and unlike anything else I've seen!
