12 DIYs of Christmas ~ Day 5 ~ DIY Chalkboard Votive Holders
Hey lovelies! Day 5 here of 12 DIYs of Christmas, and today we're making some fun chalkboard votive holders! These are great to use year round and cost almost nothing to make! {Steps after the jump}
You'll need: Votive holders (mine were $1 each at the dollar store), chalkboard paint, and a brush. Simply paint on the chalkboard paint until opacity is achieved (it took 3 coats for me, letting dry in between each coat) Let dry thoroughly overnight, then add candles, and chalk it up!
The kids wanted them to say Ho Ho Ho! for Christmas, but just simply wipe down and change to whatever doodles or phrases your heart desires.
Easy peasy, right? These make a great gift for anyone!
xx
