Hey lovelies! Happy New Year! Sorry I didn't do any obligatory end of year / beginning of year posts, but I'm not so big on them. So to ring 2012 in the right way, here's a spanking new organization DIY! I know many of you resolve to better organize yourselves, so I'm going to help you organize your closets...in particular, your scarves! Mine were overflowing, and I could never find the one I wanted. So I made a solution, and it seriously takes up as much room as a sweater in my closet! Here's the how-to: {Steps after the jump}
So here you have it! There's plenty of room for all my scarves, and room for lots more too! How do you organize your scarves?

Great idea! better than having them in the drawer as I do. Can view them without making a mess.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, this could be the clutter control I've been looking for in my daughters bedroom, thanks for the tutorial, I've added it to my pinterest tutorial board. Thanks so much for posting such great directions and photos, I'm very visual and it helps to see it step by step.
ReplyDeletesuper clever!
ReplyDeleteyou are a life saver!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking of repairing my broken & ugly old hangers, this is really perfect and good for my scarves too!
thanks for sharing this and please never stop being creative!
Cleaver! I just hang my scarves on the clothes rod in the closet or store them folded in a drawer.
ReplyDeleteI am impressed! I just made my own scarf organizer, but it was out of a hanger and rubber bands. Definitely not as complicated as this, but I was going for easy and cheap.

Came across this idea on a fb group page and I will be making this soon!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I noticed the hanger in the example kind of sags when it is loaded up. Maybe you could add loops inside the open part of the hanger, braced at top and bottom, for added support?
