And the inspiration... I loved it when I saw it, but didn't realize the DIY potential until I saw that the bracelet was partially made of paper!

So, here's how I made it, using blurry lights pictures I printed out from online...
And here's how I wore it today...
It's such a gorgeous, statement piece! The best thing is that it does not look like it's made of a cardboard spool! The key is to use the glossy mod podge as well as the metallic paint, and to apply both generously. Also having a thick, heavy-weight cardboard spool helps too. I literally spent nothing to make this bracelet, making it a $128, 100%, savings by DIYing it! This would look great with an LBD for a holiday party, or worn for work like I did. I hope you love this DIY!
