12 DIYs of Christmas ~ Day 9: Last Minute Decor

Hey lovelies!  If you're looking for some last minute, fast and FREE holiday decor, I've got just the solution for you!  I whipped these up in about 5 minutes all together with things I had on hand.

For this first one, I took a large vase I had on hand and added some vintage glass ornaments.   It seemed to need some more texture, so I took my kitchen shears outside and cut a small branch off of the pine/evergreen tree outside.  I then cut those into smaller pieces, and shoved them in between the ornaments and the side of the vase.  This now resides on the dining room table :)

For my coffee table, I took this shallow dish and placed some cut pine/evergreen branches in it.  I had these little twiggy balls (LOL!) and added those on top for some more color/visual interest.

So cute, and not tacky!  That's my biggest issue with holiday decor; sometimes, it's just plain tacky.  So, go outside, cut some little pieces off of that tree, and see what you have around the house to 'spruce' it up! (Pun intended)
