Hey my dolls! I wore this little number to work yesterday. I picked up this frock for $15 at H&M while I was in FL and it
screamed 60s mod to me. So when I stumbled upon this vintage scarf in the same drawer as the shirt I found at my grandmother's (
post here), I died because I knew I would wear it as a headband with the dress. I wanted to temper the look a little bit to make it a tad more work friendly, so rather than heels (or my Michael Kors wedges,
seen here) I opted for my black Steve Madden oxfords. I layered up three (!)
Jewelmint necklaces, the Lovers' Locket, the Astoria necklace (short one) and the Pin Up necklace (ginormous safety pin). I opted to forego earrings and stacked on a little arm party, featuring beauties from Target,
Jewelmint, and my grandma. As always, where would I be without my Nixon watch. Sigh. I really
really need a nice Michael Kors watch. Anyone want to donate one to a worthy cause? ;)
What do you think of this look? I seriously love it. It's my take on 60s mod, and I think I'll continue to wear this into the fall, layered over leggings with some boots. And let's be real for a second, how amazing is the scarf?!
